Estates Times Toby Jug, made by Honiton Pottery

 

The toby jug features the fictional character called "Stackup", created by (the late) Alan Bailey. It is part of a series of characters featured in a cartoon strip in Estates Times magazine. It was made by Honiton Pottery in Devon.

- the inscription around the bottom reads "ESTATES TIMES EVERY WEEK". Estates Times was a property magazine and it merged with another publication, Property Week, around 1996

- the base is marked underneath "WITH BEST WISHES FROM ESTATES TIMES" and an impressed mark that looks like a capital letter"H", for Honiton Pottery.
