Above is the complete, jointed Lined Lattice mould, fully opened out. The base plate is in
the middle of the shot, the plunger is on the right.

The entire mould, top ring, base plate and plunger fully assembled and locked in place,
with the plunger fully inserted.
|

All the parts are shown - from the left; the top ring, the jointed mould that is
now curved round into place and on the right, the plunger.

A close up
showing the base plate for the rectangular foooted version. You can also see the detail of the
pattern which is cut into the mould - the design thus appears in cameo (proud) on the finished
glass vase.
|
The top ring which has
the shaping for the top of the vase where the "flames" are. ("Flames" are the large flutes around
the very top of the vase. The
large pins that help lock the mould together.
|
In
a delightful touch, Dugan-Diamond had their
trademark cut into the mould. The trademark is not
moulded on the actual glass.
